All MXPL model doors swing out due to a stainless steel exposed continuous hinge. Karp Model MXPL doors are surrounded by a 22 gauge expansion casing bead with metal lath on all sides of the 36" x 36" door. This feature provides a neat, tight, protected finish between the frame and plaster, additional plaster reinforcement may be neccesary for installation.
