The JL Industries Safety Roof Hatch Railing SHWC-3096 ( STH-3 ) 30 in. x 96 in. The rail on the SHWC-3096 is constructed from 1-5/8" OD A53 grade B seamed galvanized steel with zinc plated post caps. The base is factory galvanized 2" x 2" 16 gauge seamed steel with cast steel hot dipped galvanized clamps. The guard chain that blocks the egress is zinc-plated 3/16" ASTM chain with quick links and hoops. Designed fit the RHDA-3 ( RHA-3 ), and RHDG-3WT ( RHG-3 ) the SHWC-3096 meets OSHA required compliance for safe egress and ingress through rooftop hatch openings while the hatch is in use. The rail on the SHWC is constructed from 1-5/8" OD A53 grade B seamed galvanized steel with zinc plated post caps. The base is factory galvanized 2" x 2" 16 gauge seamed steel with cast steel hot dipped galvanized clamps. The chain guard is zinc-plated 3/16" ASTM proof coil with quick links and hoops.Installation is a breeze, and is non-invasive, as the railing does not penetrate the roof deck during installation ( protecting roof warranties).
