The Karp KAD Model door is a Concealed Aluminum Trim Access Door with Drywall Inlay. The Karp KAD Model door is designed to provide access in walls and ceilings, while maintaining a clean and architecturally pleasing appearance. All hardware is hidden behind a gypsum inlay, accessible through a concealed mechanical touch-latch. The KAD Model door is completely removable providing unobstructed access in walls and ceilings.

• Door assembly consists of a 4-piece aluminum extrusion with drywall installed
• Depth of the Frame shall be 0.75" and is designed for 5/8" drywall with 0.125" compound applied at installation
• Gasketing between door and frame shall be 0.6" wide by 0.125" thick continuous gasket
• Door drywall insert shall be 5/8" thick
• Latch shall be concealed mechanical touch-latch
• Hinge shall be free pivoting hinge
• Finish shall be unpainted mill-finish aluminum
• Door assembly can be completely removed for maximum clearance
• Safety cable must be installed to connect door and frame assembly
