The Karp KRP-350FR is an Insulated Fire Rated Access Door with Drywall Bead. Designed for Drywall Surfaces. The KRP-350FR has a textured frame and bead so drywall joint compound can be applied in sufficient thickness to conceal the flange. The KRP-350FR is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for 1.5 hour “B” label in walls and by Warnock Hersey for 3 hours in ceilings.

• Frame shall be 16 gage steel, 1" wide, surrounded by galvanized drywall bead.
• Door shall be 20 gage steel, welded pan type filled with 2" thick fire-rated insulation, and shall open to 175°, be self-latching with automatic closer and interior latch release.
• Hinge shall be a continuous piano hinge
• Latches shall be spring loaded sliding bolt type, keyed paddle latch, all keyed alike. Door can be prepared for a rim cylinder lock
• Finish shall be prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder, baked white enamel. Stainless steel doors shall have #4 satin finish.
