The circular body of the anchor shackle permits multi directional load handling but only so long as the direction of the load is in the plane of the bow AND appropriate adjustments to WLL is made based on the angle of the load. The trade size 3/8" anchor shackle has an inline working load limit of 1500 lb (3/4 U.S. Ton).
